Steve Doust's transformation of his Executive Sedan into his 'Monarodore'

Yes, this is a 4-door Monaro. Steve Doust has transformed his humble 2000 VT Series 2 Commodore Executive, into this spectacular 'Monarodore'.

The interior has received some major treatment including: 9c1 Buckets, Calais Chrome Door Handles, SS Instrument Cluster as well as a Custom Coloured Dash Surround and Leather Steering Wheel from an HSV GTO.

This car both looks and sounds good thanks to the Pioneer in dash CD Player, Boston Splits front and three ways in the rear doors, two Rockford Fosgate punch amps and two Alpine 12-inch subs in a sealed box, which Steve has inside the 'Monarodore'.

The motor has been recipient to some work as well. Steve's installed Monaro CAI, K&N Panel Filter, CAPA 10% Maf, CAPA Maf to Throttlebody tube, Custom turtle in black with purple pearl, Pacemaker 4-2-1 extractors, opened up cats , Redback 2 x 2 1/4 inch into 3 inch exhaust. Which Steve says is soon to be edited.

Last but definitely not least, is the most important part of making the 'Monarodore' what it is, the exterior. Front end work includes the addition of the Monaro front bar, lights and fog lights. At the rear there's Monaro rear lights with a VX Executive Garnish in between, and a Chev badge on the boot. The 'Monarodore' now rolls on some brand new alloys, which you can see in the top picture on the left.
